With the Alt Blacks, Steinlager not only gave rugby fans the chance to live the dream of wearing a black jersey, but we also created our very own live-streamed eSports test match, an activation that saw our team of Kiwis play against world champions, South Africa, in a live game streamed to an audience of over 4 million fans. DDB turned the fans into heroes and got Steinlager in front of a whole new generation of fans.

My role was to help establish a ‘digital-first’ art direction for the campaign's lock up and brand assets. We looked at 90’s techno flyers and game culture to inform the type and motion ‘glitch’ treatments. Following on to microsite, rugby jerseys, motion, and 3D assets.
